What is Sealed Pack Play?
Sealed Pack Play is how you take booster packs and turn them into a game all on their own.
Just get together with your friends (or rivals!), split up an equal number of packs, open them, build brand-new Decks using only the cards you opened, and start Dueling!
Everyone starts on equal footing. The only thing that matters is what you can do with the cards you have.
Of course, once you're finished Dueling, you still keep all the cards you opened. That means you can walk away with incredible cards for your regular Deck and collection, including Adreus, Keeper of Armageddon, Tour Guide From the Underworld, Fabled Raven, Doomcaliber Knight, Forbidden Lance, plus two brand-new cards: Gem-Knight Pearl and Backup Warrior.

Sealed Pack Ideas
Gather three friends and split one box of Battle Pack: Epic Dawn so that each Duelist receives 9 booster packs. Build your Decks and compete in a round-robin tournament. The Duelist with the most wins at the end of the day is the champion!
Keep the excitement going by creating your own league with your friends. Every time you get together, split more Battle Packs and add the new cards to your league card pool. Everyone agrees beforehand to use only the cards opened from their league Battle Packs. You can rebuild your Deck whenever you like, as long as you stick to those cards.
Besides Dueling with your friends, there may also be special Battle Pack Sealed Pack events at local stores and major competitions. Playing Sealed with your friends is the perfect way to sharpen your skills before taking on official Sealed Pack tournaments.

Engineered for the Perfect Sealed Pack Experience
Duelists have enjoyed Sealed Pack Play for years using regular booster packs. What makes Battle Pack different is that it's the first booster set specifically engineered for this format.
Return to a time when a single Summon or a perfectly timed Trap Card could decide the outcome of a Duel. Each Battle Pack contains 5 carefully selected cards:

• 1 Rare Card, featuring a special glossy black or glossy white card name, similar to the colored card names found on Duelist League cards. These are the game-changing cards capable of turning the tide of a Duel the moment they hit the field. Your strongest Monsters, Spells, Traps, and even Xyz Monsters will come from this slot.
• 3 Common Cards, each designed to serve a unique purpose:
  
  - One high-ATK Monster built to overpower your opponent in battle.
  - One low-ATK Monster chosen for its powerful effect.
  - One additional Common Card (usually a Spell or Trap) designed to remove an opponent's card or completely change the course of battle.
• 1 guaranteed Starfoil Card, which can be any card from the entire 220-card set!

Starfoil Cards
Battle Pack: Epic Dawn introduces an all-new foil treatment unlike anything seen before: Starfoil Cards.
These cards feature a brilliant star-pattern foil that shimmers across the surface of the card. The fifth card in every booster pack is always a Starfoil Card, and every one of the 220 cards in the set can be found in this special rarity.
That means you can collect dazzling Starfoil versions of iconic cards like Gorz the Emissary of Darkness, Pot of Avarice, or Monarchs such as Caius the Shadow Monarch, Raiza the Storm Monarch, and Mobius the Frost Monarch.
