The end of the world is near!

The world is on the brink of catastrophe. It's 1926, and an ancient creature with unimaginable power awakens from its long slumber, causing death and madness upon awakening. Strange cults and incredible monsters wreak havoc on every continent as the fabric of reality tears, opening portals to other, strange worlds. Only a handful of courageous investigators understand what is truly happening.

They are determined, come from every walk of life, and will use their skills and weapons against the threat of the Ancient One. It will be up to them to explore the farthest corners of the globe to battle the nightmarish creatures that prowl the shadows and find the answers to the ancient mysteries of Eldritch Horror!

Eldritch Horror is a cooperative game in which players form a single team and win or lose the game together. In this game, inspired by the stories of H.P. Lovecraft, a Great Old One, a being of unimaginable power from another dimension, is awakening. Players take on the roles of investigators who must work together to solve mysteries, defend humanity from unimaginable horrors, and ultimately banish the Great Old One from this world.

In this race against time, if the investigators fail to complete their mission, the Great Old One will awaken, bringing destruction and ruin upon the entire human race; this will mean defeat for all players. At the beginning of the game, after the players have jointly decided which Great Old One (from those available) to face in the game (each Great Old One creates a different gaming experience and requires different strategies to defeat), each player chooses the investigator they will control for the duration of the game.
