Gamebook - Lone Wolf Eighth Volume of the "New Kai Order" Series
THE LEGACY OF LONE WOLF IS IN YOUR HANDS!
Special Notes for this volume, which concludes the Lone Wolf reprint cycle:
The previously published Volume 28 had unfortunately been cut and shortened in various ways, resulting in an incomplete edition.
Thanks to the work of Vincent Lazzari, Joe Dever’s original vision of a full 350-section Volume 28 has finally been realized. While the main plot remains unchanged, this new edition enriches the story with additional details that add greater depth, introduces new gameplay possibilities, and plants the seeds for Book 29. Together with Book 27, it forms an Eastern trilogy that bridges the classic series and its thrilling finale!
The army of Bhanar has launched its offensive against the New Kingdoms of the south, invading Chai and threatening the capital. The Autarch Sejanoz, the millennia-old vampire ruler of those lands, has sworn vengeance against the royal family of Chai, the only obstacle to his conquest.
It is time to flee. A caravan must escort the elderly Khea-khan Xo-Lin, ruler of Chai, across vast plains in search of allies capable of turning the tide. You must protect the caravan. But can you stand against an enemy who appears immortal and seems able to anticipate your every move?
Lone Wolf is a fantasy series created by the English writer Joe Dever, published across various media beginning in 1984. It consists of two gamebook series (Lone Wolf and Grey Star), 12 novels, a role-playing game, 3 video games, a comic book, and an illustrated guide, all set in Magnamund, the fictional world invented by Dever.
Joe Dever was a British writer and game designer. In 1984, he wrote Flight from the Dark, the first Lone Wolf gamebook. Both the debut volume and its sequel sold one hundred thousand copies each in their first week of release, and the rights were sold in twelve countries around the world. The success of Dever’s first book laid the foundations for the future of the entire Lone Wolf series, which has sold more than 8 million copies worldwide.
