It is divided into two series of gamebooks (Lone Wolf and Oberon), 12 novels, an RPG, 3 video games, a comic and illustrated guide, set in Magnamund, a fictional world invented by Dever. Joe Dever is a British writer and game author. In 1984 he wrote the volume "Flight from the Dark", the first Lone Wolf gamebook. Both the first volume and the next one sold one hundred thousand copies each in the first week of release and the rights were sold in twelve countries around the world.
