It is said that, in the moment before we die, our entire life flashes before our eyes, but Takemichi Hanagaki, a loner perpetually on the run from the world, sees only Hinata Tachibana, his middle school girlfriend, who died a few days earlier in a Tokyo Manji Gang attack.
